I have a thing for figs too - had never seen nor tasted a fresh one before moving to L.A., and now I'm hooked. The place where I do Pilates has two HUGE fig trees in the back, and no one else picks the figs, so for the last month I've been bringing home 20lbs a week. My refrigerator is full of fig jam, fig chutney, fig cake. Your jam looks delicious. My husband uses it on his oatmeal. I, like you, prefer it with cheese.
Five years ago my wife and I found Italy and then fell in love with Italy. Within 7 months we bought an apartment in the village of Casperia and started an adventure that adds new chapters in our live.
